Identity Crisis?

I survived another week and it was great!
Tuesday I was so are from Monday's soccer that it hurt bad to even laugh, which was a struggle since I taught so much. AY. But we had this potential investigator, se llama Ever, and we got to go help her kids do their homework :) yay simple service! But because of that she let us teach her the first lesson too! It went really well. Then later we were able to do the ward noche de hogar (family home evening) with the elders. Good stuff :)

Wednesday was excessively cold. I didn't sign up for this when I came to Cali ;) but I borrowed a sweet sweater from Hna Evanson. I feel like a hobo when I wear it and I love it! Then we got a new potty! It's more efficient or whatever, I dunno. We also met a really sweet old lady with some...interesting beliefs. She was fun to talk to though :)
Lately we've been struggling to get people to have us back for a second lesson, so we spend a lot of time trying to find new investigators. But we did get to teach the family that came to church, Franklin and Astrid! They're amazing and we love them so much :) they were going to come to church again this last week but they were all sick :( pray for them! Then at the end of the night a neighbor kid came over for help with his homework and his mom rewarded us with hot chocolate :)

Thursday we had a zone meeting way up at the stake center and we got to take the train! (I LOVE the train). It was a really good meeting and I learned a lot. Afterwards though we went to Pollo Loco for lunch and I had the biggest identity crisis of my life: what do I tell the Pollo Loco guy my name is for the order?!?? The struggle is so real. I blanked and he just put Johnson since it's on the tag :P Anyways, we got to teach Elpidia a little more and her daughter Stephanie was there too :) They're both really great and understand all the things we've taught really well.

Friday was lovely. Hna Chino fed us dinner and it was delicious! It was also the first time I haven't been able to finish all the food that was given to me ;) Like I said, there's a reason people get fat in this mission. But we had 2 members come with us for lessons, Carla and Gabby :) they're cute little young women and they're so great. We've been working really hard to get members out with us more, so it was really good that they could come :)

Saturday we had a member feed us French toast for brunch and it was so yummy :) and then we got to teach 2 cute kids, Josh and his little sis Sammy. They both know a lot about the Bible already and they understood the Restoration really well! I love them!

Not much happened on Sunday :/ we only had one set lesson, which was hard. But we're doing our best and working hard :) there's this talk from conference by James B Martino that I really love. He talks about faith and finding answers. I encourage you all to go read/watch it again :) Also look up Romans 15:4. It's good.
And to end, a quote from Confucius: "Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall." I know our Savior's always there to help life us when we fall :)

Ciao!
